Bringing Compassion to Toms River, New Jersey

We are the Toms River initiative of the Charter for Compassion, a cooperative effort to restore not only compassionate thinking but, more importantly, compassionate action to the center of religious, moral and political life. Our mission is to inspire the growth and development of a culture of compassion in Toms River and the surrounding areas through advocacy, awareness & action. We encourage individuals and organizations to sign the Charter for Compassion, and join us in advocating for compassion-based practices in our schools, businesses, faith communities, and government in Toms River, New Jersey.
